Title: A critical success factor model for asset management services
Department: Department of Industrial Engineering
Promoter: Prof PJ Vlok
Co-promoter: Prof CSL Schutte

Summary:
Business-to-business services relating to physical asset management are playing an increasingly important role in industry. This is in the midst of the current pressures which organisations are experiencing in realising value from their assets. The pursuit
of complying with the ISO 55000 asset management standard contributes towards the importance of these services. The problem is that there is no evidence regarding the critical success factors for collaborating successfully in asset management services. This study identifies these factors and then develops a decision support model for providing industry with access to the factors for decision-making and for improving asset management services.

Congratulations once again Dr Jooste!
